The light and versatile Black Diamond Distance Z-Pole 100cm trekking poles sport a simple and reliable folding design that is ideal for day hikers, trail runners and backpackers. Folding Z-Pole system features 3 sections of light, strong aluminum shafts, an inner Kevlar cord and single push-button release. When you"re ready to go, innovative "speed cones" help guide each pole section into place, ensuring stability and super-fast deployment. To deploy, simply give a quick pull on the grip and the 3 pole sections snap into place. Shafts collapse easily to fit into your pack; flexible tube ends protect the inner Kevlar cord when folded. Right- and left-hand-specific straps are light, breathable and moisture-wicking; they feature breathable cut-out windows and easy rip-and-stick adjustability. Light, non-slip EVA foam grips feature foam extensions down the poles to allow for secure choke-ups. Pole baskets feature shaft catchers to secure pole sections when folded; note: baskets are fixed in place and cannot be switched out for snow or powder baskets.
